Privacy notice
Last updated 30 Oct 2026
VolunTT is a small, no-login board. We collect as little as we can, we don’t sell data and we don’t run advertising or tracking cookies.
When you just browse
- The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operations.
- We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both are cookie-less and give us aggregate counts and page-load timings, not personal profiles. When you click out to an organisation we record which listing and organisation it was, with no name, email or other personal identifier.
When you send us a form
The “Post an opportunity” form asks for your name, email, organisation, role and the listing details, including an optional WhatsApp number. The report form asks which listing is wrong and, optionally, your email. We use these only to review the submission, contact you about it, keep a record of what we published and why, and answer corrections. If a form service is in use, it processes your submission on our behalf; otherwise the form opens a pre-filled email in your own email app and nothing is sent until you press send.
We keep a submission for as long as the listing is on the board and for a reasonable time afterwards, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Contact details shown on listings
Listings show the contact details an organisation has published or given us, such as a general email, phone or WhatsApp number, so volunteers can reach the organisation. If a contact detail is personal to you rather than the organisation’s, tell us and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by using the report form. We will respond promptly. This notice is meant to follow the Data Protection Act 2011 of Trinidad and Tobago.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its date.
